The 7th Annual Riley Run was held on Saturday, August 14th at Bakerview Park in Mount
Vernon with 150 people in attendance.  The 1 mile walk and 5K run funds scholarships 
at MVHS and other charitable causes in Skagit County.  We had 61 runners and the rest 
were walkers.  This run is in memory of Riley W. Johnson who passed away in 1997 from 
injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was a cross country runner and soccer player 
for MVHS.
