Both courses are flat loops on farming roads south of
downtown Mount Vernon. The 10K includes a short out and back section on
Dike Road. Both races start at 10 am on the north side of the fairgrounds. The
course is not closed to vehicle traffic. Please see
the course map for the exact race
route. One aid station will be located near the 3 mile mark on the
10K course assuming that the wind doesn't blow it away! The 2 mile course will be a new route
this year with an out and back on Britt Road instead of the loop south of Hazel.
Course Closure:
The course will be open for 2 hours.
Weather:
Almost any type of weather is possible at this time of year in the
valley. There is usually a strong headwind on Dike Road in late fall, but also
be prepared for rain and cold temperatures.

Results will be posted near the finish line as soon as they are available.
Complete results will be posted online at
www.skagitrunners.org and printed in Northwest Runner magazine.
