Skagit Valley Tulip Run

Date: Saturday, April 5, 2008

Race Start Time: 9:30 am

Day Of Race Registration: 7:30 am - 9:15 am

Distances: 5 Mile Run and 2 Mile Run/Walk

Location: Skagit Regional Airport in Burlington, WA

Directions: Take exit 230 from I-5 north or south. Drive west on State Route 20 to the Port of Skagit sign and take a right onto Higgins Airport Way. Registration is located at Van Zyverden Bulb at 12035 Higgins Airport Way. Arrive early to find parking.

Course: 80% gravel, 20% road. One aid station will be located about halfway on the 5 mile course. Both courses will be open for 2 hours.

Pre-Registration fees:
2 & 5 Mile with shirt - $22
2 & 5 Mile without shirt - $12
14 & under, 70 & over - free without shirt (shirts may be purchased for $10)
Shirt only - $10

Day Of Race Registration fees:
2 & 5 Mile with shirt (if available) - $28
2 & 5 Mile without shirt - $18
14 & under, 70 & over - free without shirt (shirts may be purchased for $12 if available)
Shirt only (if available) - $12

Registration:
Mail in the entry form (must be postmarked by 3/28/08).
Register in person at FootwoRx in downtown Mount Vernon or Barkley Village.
Register in person at Fairhaven Runners in Bellingham.
Register online at Active.com until April 2 at Pre-Registration fees (plus service charge).
Register day of race at Van Zyverden Bulb, 12035 Higgens Airport Way between 7:30 am and 9:15 am.

Awards and Random Prizes: Gift certificates to FootwoRx will be given in both races to the top 3 overall (male and female) as well as first Masters (male and female). Top 3 in each age division (male and female) will receive a Tulip Run medal. Over $500 in local business gift certificates will be randomly awarded to pre-registered runners.
